Glenlivet lies between the Ladder and Cromdale hills in the north-east of the Cairngorms National Park. Surrounded by high moors and hills and relatively isolated from the outside world, Glenlivet is a haven of peace in a hectic world. Its varied landscapes support a wealth of wildlife, from the low lying woodlands and rivers through pine forests and wetlands to upland moors. Fertile soils support a rich community of plants, and five separate areas of Glenlivet Estate that have been declared Sites of Special Scientific Interest.

The Cairngorms National Park is Britain's biggest national park. It encompasses four of Scotland's five highest mountains and includes the largest area of arctic landscape in the British Isles. It is home to no less than 25% of the United Kingdom’s threatened plant, bird and animal species. These include the Golden Eagle, Osprey, Dotterel, Capercaillie, Crested Tit, Pine Marten, Red Squirrel, Wildcat, Water Vole and Otter.

Yvonne and Shane look forward to welcoming you to ArDachaid and to a holiday experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.
